Thank you for considering coming to the 40th NARRC conference here in the Great State of Alaska. Alaska Rural Rehabilitation Corporation (ARRC) is proud to provide the following information to help assist you with your travel and vacation plans.
Alaska tourism has a short season and with our distance to everything, things costs more here in Alaska. ARRC is going to try to cut some costs of the conference by purchasing local food from its borrowers. We will not know the difference until after the conference itself. We hope to be able to cut checks back to the attendees after the conference. Here are some links to help you with your travel. Documents: Registration documents, the agenda, and this information are available for download as Microsoft Word documents at the bottom of this page. Airfare: Please check out these websites. They can provide you with enough air miles to make the trip to Alaska. Alaska Airlines Credit Card: Delta Airlines: You can buy your tickets now from either of those two airlines. Hotel: All block rooms have been booked! Call Steve Gallahger at 907-745-3390 for lodging information. We will be providing a link on our website or you can type the website in and get your rooms reserved today at the Anchorage Sheraton Hotel This will take you right to the Sheraton Hotel website and you can pick your dates from there. Our contract with the Sheraton is that ARRC will utilize at least 200 rooms from July 12th through July 24th. During these dates, the lower cost of $159.00 plus tax is available for any attendees. We highly recommend coming in at least a full day prior to the meeting or optional tour. The flight will most likely be a long one with possible layovers. ARRC must have the rooms booked by June 23, 2011, if all rooms are not reserved at that time ARRC will be charged.
