The Warren N. Cuddy Memorial Scholarship is sponsored by ARRC and the Palmer Branch of First National Bank Alaska.
The scholarship name comes from Warren N. Cuddy who served as director on the ARRC Board for five years prior to his death in 1951; he also served as president of First National Bank of Anchorage for many years. In recognition of his contribution to ARRC and to the development of agriculture in Alaska, the Warren N. Cuddy Memorial Scholarship fund was established in 1955 to assist students in pursuit of a college education. The Warren N. Cuddy Memorial Scholarship fund is sustained by ARRC and the Palmer Branch of First National Bank, in behalf of the Cuddy Family.
This scholarship is available to high school seniors in the Matanuska Susitna Valley. Two scholarships are awarded each year:
(1) $2,500 for a student entering an agriculture related field and
(2) $1,000 for an unrestricted major.
